The WLS core offerings that provide a full 360° service for our SEM clients are;

  • The design and development of bespoke websites;
  • The design and development of training content into an online digital format;
  • The design and development of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track, report and deliver educational training;
  • The design and development of business, events, and communications collateral;

About the role:

We are looking to hire a Web Developer to join our team working with clients within the Sport & Exercise Medicine industry globally. You will need to be able to work alongside our Design & Development team, turning ideas into experiences that wow our customers. You’ll enjoy working on a variety of projects, developing new features, and improving existing functionality across various platforms, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS’), WordPress Websites, and React.js Applications.

Responsibilities:

Working with our Lead Designer & Developer on;

  • Developing new and innovative systems
  • Maintaining and updating existing systems
  • Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
  • Staying up to date on the latest Web applications and programming tech.
  • Identifying and fixing problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing.
  • Determining user needs by analysing technical requirements.
  • Developing back-end website applications.
  • Creating servers and databases for functionality.
  • Ensuring responsiveness and cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
  • Understanding of APIs.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Web development or related field, or relevant experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experienced with WordPress.
  • Experienced with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Vue JS.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
  • Proficient in My SQL.
  • Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
  • Able to solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, and PHP would be an advantage.
